SCBWI at the L.A Times Festival of Books

What an amazing day! Astronauts, rangers and best and most coveted of all, flying books. Yes, books seemed to be flying into the arms of families who were more than interested in meeting the wonderful authors signing at our booth. I was delighted to see old friends like Greg Pincus http://www.gregpincus.com/ and the unforgettable Mary Brodsky, Founder of Always and Forever Books http://alwaysandforeverbooks.com/home/. I was equally overjoyed at having met new friends and fellow authors, Ozma Bryant http://www.ozmabryant.com/home.html, Robert Melette https://twitter.com/RSMellette, Angela Kyle http://www.angelamyron.com/, Maureen McQuerry, http://www.maureenmcquerry.com/, Catherine Fleming https://www.facebook.com/CatPayneFleming?fref=ts

Jennifer Jackson http://jenniferjacksonbooks.com/HOME.html and Kristin Riddick http://www.kristinriddick.com/.

The energy in the air was undeniable as everyone melded into the present moment. It was obvious that we were exactly where we wanted to be, doing exactly what we loved to do. All the planets were aligned http://www.sueganzschmitt.com/ as creators made their presence known. What a pleasure to be with souls who embrace the sacred call of words and the power of organic alliances. Thanks to SCBWI http://www.scbwi.org/ for being the catalyst for such a lovely moment in time.
