Floating Away

I have been away. Floating... I would like to thank everyone for your support during our loss. If you've never had someone in your immediate family pass into the next world, then you won't understand how disorienting it can be. Rounding the living room corner to tell them a funny story, thinking to prepare their favorite meal, hoping they will come and visit and...that's it...they won't come. Ever again. Even as I write this, my heart burns, oh how it aches and at the same time knowing that he is free...all is well.

I've now decided to get on with. To come back. I may float a bit. But mostly the fog is lifting...
